Oris
Divers Sixty-Five "Honey" for The Rake and Revolution
$ 1,900
We at Revolution love a cool diver watch that emulates both style and function. This time, together with Oris, we've created a watch in the likeness of a tropical-dial dive watch that's been elegantly aged by the sun: The Oris Divers Sixty-Five "Honey" for The Rake and Revolution. Taking its name from glistening of the sunrise and bronze sunkissed skin, the face of our limited edition takes on a radiating glow in deep honey with a dark Rembrandt ochre along the edges.
We favour the Divers Sixty-Five for its slim case and domed sapphire crystal, and simple round and rectangular indices. Against a brown gradated dial, the indices and hands are coated in Super-LumiNova and framed in rose gold for that faux vintage look. The time-only watch is powered by the Oris calibre 733, based on the Sellita SW 200-1, with a provision of a 38-hour power reserve. Encased in steel with a diameter of 40mm, the case is framed in a bronze rotating bezel with a black aluminium inlay with a legible 60-minute timer and zero marker. In the box, the watch comes dressed in a brown leather strap along with three additional NATO straps, perfect for beach-friendly terrain.

ORIS X THE RAKE AND REVOLUTION
In 1965, the Oris diver watch influenced the future of the collection, including recreating the vintage piece in its likeness in 2015. Keeping the features of its slim case, domed sapphire crystal and lugs, the Oris Divers Sixty-Five "Honey" is a cool diver watch that emulates style and function for the Revolution and The Rake man. Engraved on the screwed stainless steel caseback, your numbered edition is marked along with the words "Oris x Revolution Limited Edition".

"HONEY"
We aspired our version of the Divers Sixty-Five to be a vintage tropical diving piece that aged beautifully from the sun's exposure, after a trip from the ocean's depths. Like the golden hues of summer and a perfect Mediterranean tan, the dial is a gradated hue of honey to dark brown, glowing from the centre. Against the faux patina, bold indices are hands are cream-coloured and coated with Super-LumiNova, and framed in rose gold for that vintage finish. The bronze bezel is an open canvas for it to create a unique patina that will develop overtime.

VALUE APPEAL
What kept the Oris Divers Sixty-Five wasn't just its steadily evolving aesthetic, but also its accessibility. Our Oris Limited Edition is priced as so to offer a decent, handsome diving watch with a unique story behind our coloured dial. It is powered by Oris' calibre 733, based on the reliable Sellita SW200-1 movement, and the screw-in caseback and crown provides the watch a decent water resistance of 100m. In addition to the brown leather strap, we're also offering three additional NATO straps that comes with a strap-changing device in your box.

DIVERS' HOMAGE
The Oris Divers Sixty-Five has been the face of interesting figures and causes. Our conventional time-telling dial stems from the 2016 version, where the indices were designed in a mix of round and rectangular markers. A limited edition that year was dedicated to the US Navy's first African-American master diver Carl Brashear, and the 2017 Divers Sixty-Five was a black dial version for the Movember charity foundation.
