Bellytanker "Dusty" Chronograph, Bell & Ross X The Rake and Revolution
$ 4,500 Sold Out
The Bellytanker Chronograph was born from the imagination of the type of watches belly tank racers would wear in the era of the 50s. The vintage-inspired sports chronograph carried design influences of military and aviation codes, stylised with thin hour indices, recessed counters, stepped seconds track and retro typography.
The "Dusty" Chronograph is fashioned in a stainless steel case with a satin-brushed finish. The central brown dial is contrasted with black small seconds and minute counters, with a matching minutes track. Framing the dial is a caramel anodised tachymeter bezel, dressed in a brown calfskin strap. It is powered by a modular Sellita SW 300, visible through a sapphire caseback with 'REVOLUTION' across the back.

BELL & ROSS X THE RAKE AND REVOLUTION
Exclusively designed by Revolution and The Rake in collaboration with Bell & Ross, we bring you these exclusive Bellytanker "Dusty" and "El Mirage" Chronographs. Pulling together sartorial and horological perspectives, earthy tones, vintage vibes and the military and aviation influences of the Bell & Ross brand were the factors in creating this project together.
WHAT'S A BELLY TANK?
The name derived from a detachable fuel tank fitted to the exterior of military aircrafts during WWII. After the war, hot rod aficianados in America fashioned them into streamlined cars for racing.

While it's comparatively modern-looking, "Dusty" refers to the dry lakes once frequently raced on by racing legend Bill Burke. This version is encased in stainless steel, an anodised alunimum bezel, brown dial and black counters and minutes track.
CHARMED BY PATINA
The earthy tones in our limited edition Bellytanker versions draw inspiration from the lustful appeal of "tropical" dials. Each distinct feature – the central dial, recessed counters, seconds track, and bezel – are colour coded in complementing hues that give an impression of an aged vintage watch.
