URWERK x Revolution, UR-T8 Skull
Sold Out
From the samurai, the dogs, tiger and the dragon, URWERK x Revolution brings you our next hand-engraved series: the UR-T8 Skull. Masterfully engraved by our in-house engraver, Johnny "King Nerd" Dowell, the Skull is designed and crafted by hand, bringing to life this badass illustration from Johnny's vision. After carving the outlines and details, various grades of polishing paper are finished on the bronze surface to achieve the intense shadows within the crevices. Limited to 5 units, each case is handcrafted in the same fashion, making these the only ones of its kind in the world.
The UR-T8 was URWERK's first transformable timepiece when it launched in 2017. Time is read off satellite wandering hours and indicator minutes along the periphery. Flipping the watch over on its underside "transforms" the watch to front an all-black PVD surface, and comes dressed in a leather strap.Model: UR-T8 Box/Papers: Yes Functions: Satellite hours; minutes Material: Bronze Dimension: Length: 60.23mm, Width: 48.35mm, Thickness: 20.02mm Case: Hand-engraved transformer case in Grade 5 titanium and bronze Movement: Automatic Lume: Hour and minute markers treated with SuperLumiNova Calibre: UR 8.01 Power Reserve: 50 hours Water Resistance: 30m Strap: Leather

ENGRAVING BY JOHNNY
Revolution's master engraver Johnny embodies two colliding worlds: That of the iconoclast and rebel, and that of the devoted artisan. There is a powerful primacy to his work that perfectly complements the spirits of URWERK and Revolution.
