Vertex Bronze 75
$ 2,900 Sold Out
In 1944, Vertex along with 11 other companies were tasked by the British Ministry of Defence to produce a timepiece that we know better today as one of the "Dirty Dozen". The Caliber 59 Nav watch is celebrated in British and international military and watchmaking history even today.
Vertex was revived in 2016, a century after its establishment, by Don Cochrane, the great-grandson of founder Claude Lyons. Its first line of watches paid homage to the brand's Dirty Dozen success with the M100, a faithful homage to that same watch. And now, Vertex has introduced a bronze variation of the M100, with the Vertex Bronze 75.
The Vertex Bronze 75 bears the number 75 on its name because Vertex is marking 75 years since end of the Second World War with this special timepiece. The watch is rendered in bronze CuSn8, which tends to patina quickly. It's the same bronze alloy which we opted for our 36mm IWC Mark XI tribute watch and more recently for the Hanhart Limited Edition 417 Chronograph.Model: Bronze 75 Function: Hours, minutes and seconds
